Code of Conduct

Postby Kizmypatooti » Sat Sep 12, 2015 5:56 pm

1. Be respectful to others. Treat people how you like to be treated yourself. Act in a civilized manner at all times. What you do while wearing our guild tag reflects upon our guild and guild membership. This applies to any public chat channels, people you group with and the official Blizzard forums.

2. Be tolerant of others.

3. Harassment of any kind is not allowed. Period. Harassment includes offensive written/verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion (or lack thereof); deliberate intimidation; griefing/stalking/following; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate and/or unwelcome sexual attention.
Any matter that deals with creed, sexuality, gender, or ethnicity know that we have a zero tolerance policy. We all rib each other meant in good fun, but if someone expresses they're uncomfortable or want the ribbing ended, please end it immediately.

4. No begging for gold or items. Ever. Period. Not in Guild Chat, not in Chat Channels, not in General Chat. This is non-negotiable. It reflects badly on you as a player, and it reflects badly on our guild. If you ask for help with something, people will provide it if and when they are able. Don’t take it personally if they can’t or choose not to..

5. Guild chat is both a tool for guild communications, and a place for guild members to shoot the shit. Members should feel free to participate in any conversation going on in gchat, no matter how ridiculous. The line is drawn however when it stops being fun. The general rule of thumb is to not bring up topics that will upset fellow guildmembers. Try to avoid topics such as religion, politics, or any other subject that may incite a riot in gchat. Leave the disruptive and controversial shit at the door.

6. Don’t create or feed drama. We understand that there are going to be disagreements and personality clashes, that’s simply a part of interacting with other people. If you become involved in a dispute with another guildmember, you should first try to resolve it directly, in a mature and constructive manner. Let the situation cool off first then approach the person to talk in PRIVATE. If that doesn't solve the issue, take it to a ranked officer who can assist in mediating a solution. At no time will disputes be addressed in gchat, public channels, or in Vent where other members are present. Drama will not be tolerated.

I think that just about covers everything.
Love your enemies. It makes them so damned mad.
If at first you don't succeed , hide all evidence that you tried.
I love my computer because all my friends live inside it!
